Mobile Labs Highlights Built-In Appium Support at STARWEST

Conference attendees are also invited to attend an Industry Technical Presentation on Appium and an upcoming web seminar on automated testing

ATLANTA – September 25, 2017 – Mobile Labs, a leading provider of enterprise-grade mobile testing and development solutions, will introduce conference attendees to the new Appium support features included with its deviceConnect mobile cloud solution at TechWell’s software testing conference, STARWEST next week in Anaheim.

Mobile Labs’ deviceConnect is an internal cloud-based mobile application testing platform that brings order to the chaos of managing mobile devices and applications in enterprise test labs. Recently the firm added a built-in Appium server to the deviceConnect platform that offers high levels of performance and reliability for mobility teams who are leveraging Appium for automated testing. This addition to deviceConnect enables mobile developers, testers and quality assurance teams to simplify operations and boost DevOps and productivity through automated testing with Appium. Mobile Labs’ world-class Appium support makes it easier for teams to leverage Appium by making the installation process easier and by enabling teams to reuse existing scripts for testing.

Available as both an on-premises and as a hosted solution, deviceConnect brings greater flexibility and choice to enterprise mobility testing teams. In the on-premises implementation, devices are managed in-house by an organization’s developers and QA professionals in a compact mobile unit, offering a central portal to manage devices, users and applications. The hosted solution features the same deviceConnect software and 24/7 access to mobile devices, but instead of being stored on-premises, the dedicated devices are managed in a secure data center by Mobile Labs’ experts.

“TechWell’s STARWEST is the ideal conference for our team to share deviceConnect’s latest capabilities with industry professionals,” stated Mobile Labs President Dan McFall. “Whether enterprise mobility teams are currently using Appium, have just started using Appium, or are considering leveraging this framework, deviceConnect’s built-in Appium server makes getting up to speed with Appium faster and easier to help teams keep up with mobile demand.”

While at STARWEST, attendees are invited to visit the Mobile Labs Booth (#9) for a demo of deviceConnect. Attendees are also invited to an Industry Technical Presentation on Thursday, October 5th at 1:30 p.m. PT. Mobile Labs’ Sr. Solution Architect Jamie Moore will present, “We’re Starting with Appium…Now What?,” to help conference attendees navigate test automation with Appium, whether they are currently using it or just thinking about adopting this framework.

Before heading to STARWEST, Mobile Labs will be conducting a web seminar for the TechWell audience on test automation on Wednesday, September 27th at 2 p.m. ET. Mobile Labs’ President Dan McFall will present, “Supercharge Your Automated Testing Frameworks Using a Mobile Device Cloud,” to share the benefits of leveraging test automation tools with a mobile device cloud framework for test automation. Registration and information about this webinar can be found on the event page for this seminar.

STARWEST begins October 1st and runs through October 6th at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, CA.
